Dual Cam

Designed, built, and launched by Harris Beringer — Triple Shore LLC

Dual Cam app

Dual Cam captures action and reaction simultaneously using both front and rear cameras. It was built for the moments where the response is as important as the event itself — sports celebrations, surprise reveals, and reactions that deserve to be part of the story.

The Problem

Every existing camera app forces a choice: film what's happening, or film the reaction. Social media is full of the former. But the reaction — the face of someone opening a gift, a fan watching their team score, a child seeing something for the first time — often tells the better story. Dual Cam was built to stop making you choose.

Design & Build

Dual Cam required solving real iOS camera API constraints — running both camera sessions simultaneously without overheating the device or degrading capture quality. The UI was designed for one-handed use in the moment: large, unambiguous controls that work without looking at the screen. The composite output renders cleanly for social sharing with no additional editing required.

Privacy by Design

All capture processing happens on-device. No account, no cloud sync, no advertising profile. Camera, photo library, location, and weather permissions are scoped precisely to their function — and each is fully optional. The app's privacy policy reflects this directly.
